Pavla Krkošková
Pavla Krkošková (born 1981 in Třinec) studied in the intermedia studio of Petr Lysáček at the University of Ostrava (IPUS) and in the photography studio of Pavel Baňka in Ústí nad Labem (UJEP), after which she spent several years at the Stanica Žilina-Záriečie cultural centre. She lives and works in Návsí. In 2010, together with her husband, she founded the print workshop Uutěrky, focused on hand screen-printing and bookbinding. Her work spans the media of drawing, painting and printmaking. She records life in her immediate surroundings – moments of family life, of the garden. What matters to her is capturing the fleeting present, the moment of wonder.
