Tal Hagi
Tal Hagi (b.1997) is a figurative painter based in Berlin. She graduated in Fine Art & Education from Hamidrasha Art Faculty - Beit Berl in 2025. Her work navigates the friction between the digital screen and the physical world, exploring a gaze split between urban life and global conflict. Processing the Israel-Palestine war, she translates digital archives, from press footage to social media frames, into expressive paintings that attempt to find a sense of touch and light within the disaster. Parallel to these are her observational works, capturing urban life on-site, searching for warmth and tenderness within the alienation of the city. Her practice lingers between massive geopolitical events and the vital pulses of the everyday, searching for connection in a fractured reality.
