I studied promotional graphics at the Secondary School of Applied Arts (SUPŠ) in Žižkov, Prague, and then pursued painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts (FaVU) in Brno under the guidance of Prof. MgA. Petr Kvíčala and Milan Houser.
My primary means of expression is painting, though at certain periods I also devote myself
to drawing. During my studies at FaVU, for instance, as part of a project involving reading and simultaneously transcribing Exupéry's Citadelle, I created ballpoint pen drawings on canvas.
A few years ago, alongside my studio painting, I began drawing fine-tip marker illustrations for my mother's poems and grew fond of this medium. Later, I started creating portrait drawings inspired by Renaissance likenesses and religious imagery.
Thematically, my paintings have been exploring the expression of feelings through introspection ever since my studies,
and recently, the four basic temperament types – choleric, phlegmatic, sanguine, and melancholic – have also become a central theme.
