Olga Nová

I am a painter and student at FaVU BUT (Painting Studio 1). My work is rooted in long-term volunteering in dementia care, exploring themes of identity, exclusion, and loss of autonomy. I work with painting, drawing, printmaking, and text, often using participatory methods to create collective works. My practice also includes portraiture and plein-air painting. I view art as a tool for interaction and proximity; my pieces seek a common language and intimacy in everyday situations.
