Michael Hon (*1991, Prachatice) is an abstract painter based in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts, BUT, in the studio Painting 3 of Petr Kvíčala and at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University, majoring in art education and visual arts, under the guidance of Petr Kamenický. Michael's work is a symbiosis of a well-thought-out concept and perfect mastery of the painting craft. Conceptually, he has been primarily devoted to the exploration of painting process, color and physical attributes of painting.
