Maud Kotasová

I specialize in embroidery in metal and environmental installations from text art to grow art, sometimes in public space. Narrative objects reflect topics like migration, nomad life, migrant transnational identity, abandoned villages, factories and mines, social experience, causality chains and war experience, influenced by my own humanitarian aid work. I pursue message above aesthetics. I exhibited in Prague CZ (Pragovka Gallery, 2025), Brno CZ (House of Arts, 2024), Bratislava (Medium Gallery, 2024) Bucharest RO (Sandwich Gallery, 2022) or Munich DE (Haus der Kunst, 2015).
