Markéta Hlinovská
In 2008, I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (Studio of Printmaking and Drawing, Prof. Jiří Lindovský), receiving the Rector's Award and the Studio Award.
In 2006 and 2007, I completed a residency at the École nationale supérieure d'art de Dijon.
In my work, I focus on the animal kingdom as it intersects with the material environment of the civilised world.
I work in cycles, drawing primarily on drawing as a medium, which I complement with stencil objects, spray paint, and painting.
Individual pictures can together form larger wholes, which I then present as site-specific installations.
