Market Lamoš Žitňanská

I am Market Lamoš Žitňanská (1980), I live and create in Prague in the environment of my home, where I also gather inspiration. I am a painter, a lover of cats, nature, singing, and music. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava – painting. Creation is a continuous process, and mine takes shape in several directions. Thematically, I explore various patterns, but they are always palpable and perceived in relation to my person and my space. I work in cycles that I leave open and develop with unlimited time. Dualism is characteristic of me. I enjoy combining deliberation with expression, geometry with a free stroke, layering of surfaces with a clear accent color. I depict my own body, my animal companions, nature, and fragments of situations that surround me and at the same time surprise me. I strive for purity of expression and form, for minimalist morphology and sign-based articulation. Yet I do not confine myself to uniformity.
