Lenka Zadražilová
I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Brno University of Technology (FaVU VUT), Painting Studio 3 (2024), and from the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno, specializing in Art Education and Visual Arts for primary and secondary schools (2026).
My work is primarily painting-based, but I also venture into other media such as objects, artist’s books, and installations, while maintaining a consistently conceptual approach. I explore the possibilities of the image, painting, photography, and the archive, as well as the relationship between the work, the artist, and the viewer.
In recent years, I have been devoted to a project called Collecting Dust, which addresses dust in various ways. I strive, among other things, to analyze, bring closer, and beautify this “unaesthetic” component of our homes, our air, and our world.
Alongside my work with dust, I paint the rabbits we keep at home, explore the space of the living room—my safe place—and assemble installations with layered portraits of my family.
The themes of my projects revolve around everyday life, ways of being, work, the image, and family.
