Katja Praschak
Degree: Painting studies (with distinction) – University of Applied Arts Vienna (2004) under A. Frohner (Vienna School), freelance painter in Perchtoldsdorf near Vienna. My painting is shaped by a calm and reflective attitude towards the world and towards painting as a medium itself – I seek the essence of painterly expression. My works connect inner sensation with outer reality and engage in a dialogue with classical and modern pictorial traditions. Solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, international art fair participations (Vienna Fair, Art Frankfurt, ...), international collections (ECB, ...)
