Jakub Dvořák
Jakub Dvořák (b. 1998) is a painter, drawer, and printmaker. He studied in the Painting Studio 1 at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Brno University of Technology, under the guidance of Vasil Artamonov, Tomáš Hlavenka, and Marie Štindlová. His work focuses on ordinary, everyday, seemingly banal motifs - he draws his subjects from the environment of small-town peripheries and suburban cultural landscapes. Since 2023, he has been systematically exploring the possibilities of collaborative painting together with painter Michaela Nováková, with whom he forms an artistic duo.
