Fatmire Nura Zeka

Fatmire Nura Zeka is a contemporary multimedia artist from Kosova whose work spans drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, installations, performance, and writing. Fatmire's background nurtures a rich body of work that expresses her pre-war and post-war realities while addressing present-day issues. Incorporating material culture and confronting overconsumption, Fatmire transforms everyday objects and detritus into traces of memories that fuel her creative process. 'My passion for music and performance inspires me to draw fantasies in charcoal using oil paint, allowing them to evolve, exploring appearance versus reality in my art, interpreting my surroundings differently and presenting them in a surrealistic way'.
