Christian Siméon
A student of sculptor Dino Quartana and professor Jean-François Debord, Christian Siméon taught sculpture at the "Terre et Feu" workshops in Paris for 20 years.
From 1991 onward, his artistic research focused primarily on the themes of Africa and hunger. In 2015, he explored animal art under the direction of sculptor Jean-François Gambino. Since 2022, he has worked in the Art Students League workshops in New York. His creative fields encompass the entire realm of the living: animals, the human body, and mythological bestiaries.
He lives and works in Paris and New York.
He is also an awarded playwright: he wrote 37 theater plays. 21 have been produced on stage. 16 have been published.
