Adéla Valchařová
Adéla Valchařová is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno, Studio of Painting 1. In 2022, she participated in an Erasmus exchange at the University of Art and Design in Cluj, Romania, and in 2025, she attended the NES Artist Residency in Skagaströnd, Iceland.
The subjects of her paintings range from barren minimalist landscapes to natural elements such as trees, animals, or mountains. These motifs are organic and ever-changing. Through the use of geometric shapes and straight lines, the organic quality of the depicted subject is diminished, taking on a mechanical or architectural impression. Geometrization also helps her clarify and simplify the surrounding space. Solitary objects, placed at the center of the canvas, become the protagonists of her paintings.
