I am currently in my Master's programme, which I will be completing next year in the Painting 2 studio at the Faculty of Art, University of Ostrava, under the guidance of doc. MgA. František Kowolowski and MgA. Jiří Kuděla, Ph.D. My work draws on personal landscape experiences, which I then reshape and modify into abstracted painterly forms and fragments. I combine various painting and drawing media on canvas and paper, allowing these two supports to communicate within the resulting installation. Recently, my attention has been focused on water and nocturnal elements — the realm of mystery, atmosphere, mutability, layers of depth, lightness and light, where inner and outer landscapes merge.
