Adam Žufníček
Jan Adam Žufníček (1999) is among the most distinctive creators of the emerging generation. His work interweaves inspiration from the visuality of genre subcultures, sci-fi, fantasy, graffiti, DIY, and everyday pop-cultural objects. With an extraordinary emphasis on the treatment of details – revealing the author's original focus on painting – he combines found, natural, artificial, and waste materials.
In 2025, he graduated from the Studio of Free Art III at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (VŠUP). He completed his bachelor's studies in the Studio of Painting III at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Brno University of Technology (FaVU VUT). He undertook study residencies at the Bauhaus University in Weimar and in the Video Studio at FaVU VUT in Brno.
